Taylors

Designed for a young family, Taylors was an exercise in balancing the need for a well-designed family home alongside budget restraints and a steep east-facing site.

The interior of the upper living spaces has black painted walls and ceilings and feels like a ‘cave’ in the hillside, drawing on local geology and the natural features of the cliffs opposite.

The result is a compact 150m2 burnt timber clad home with room for a young family to grow.
