Colenso was a flagship design and build development for ‘Built’ Christchurch, a Sumner-based architectural developer.

The home was designed as a series of stacked, overlapping ‘boxes’ to create shaded, intimate outdoor entertainment spaces while avoiding on-site planning constraints.

Using New Zealand beech timber cladding and bespoke fittings throughout the home has resulted in a modern, natural family beach house.
