Built on a 45-degree angled hillside in the beachside community of Sumner, Heberden was the most challenging residential project we’ve ever undertaken.

With a site prone to slips with easements and planning issues, we were challenged at every turn.

The resulting form is wedge-shaped, anchored into the hillside. The design maximises views across the ocean to the Alps and is topped off with 115m2 of roof terrace three levels above the cliff below.
